CORRIGENDUM TO ADVERTISEMENT
NO.5 OF 2005-06 FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL).
THE LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF
APPLICATIONS IS EXTENDED UPTO THE 20TH MARCH 2006 UPTO 5.00 P.M.
Paragraph-1 . The words “Works Department” may be inserted between “Applications in the prescribed form (both Short & Long) are invited from candidates for recruitment to 90 (Ninety) posts of Assistant Engineer(Civil)” and “(Examination Code-12,Post Code-109) in Class-II (Group-B) of Orissa Engineering Service……….”
Paragraph-3 .
Clause(iv) may be added
after Clause (iii) as follows:
(a) The upper age limit may be relaxed for D.L.R./N.M.R. Graduate
Engineers working under other Departments of Government like Rural Development
Department, Housing & Urban Development Department and Water
Resources Department subject to the conditions stipulated in Paragraph 3(iii)
(a) and (b).
(b)
They should be within the age limit prescribed
for first appointment to Government service after deduction of the number of
years they have worked under the respective Department.
