Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the candidates for recruitment to the post of Drugs Inspector in Class-II of State Service in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-200-10,500/-. with usual allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Orissa from time to time. 2. POSITION OF VACANCY :- S.C..-ONE POST, S.E.BC.-(W)-ONE POST, S.E.B.C. – ONE POST AND UN-RESERVED-(W) ONE POST. 3. AGE:- A candidate must not be below 21 years and over 32 years of age as on 1st August, 2003. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years in case of candidates belonging to S.C./S,.T./Women/Ex-servicemen. The upper age limit is also relaxable by three years in case of candidates belonging to S.E.B.C. In the case of candidates already in Orissa Government Service, the upper age limit is relaxable to the extent of the period of their service rendered under the Government subject to a maximum period of five years. Provided that a person who comes under more than one category mentioned above, shall be eligible for only one benefit of upper age relaxation which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her. 4. QUALIFICATION ;- A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture or sale of Drugs & Cosmetics shall be appointed as Inspector, under the D. & C. Act, 1945. 5.
