            Applications in the prescribed form are invited from prospective candidates for admission to the competitive examination to be conducted by the Commission for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Law Officer in Law Department in Group ‘B’ Service in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000’-. with usual dearness allowance sanctioned by the Government of Orissa from time to time. The posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent.

3.                  AGE ;-     

 

A candidate shall be not less than 21 years and more than 32 years on the last date of receipt of applications. The upper age limit is relaxable by three years for candidates belonging to Socially Educationally Backward Classes(S.E.B.C.), by five years for candidates belong to the categories of S.C./S.T., Women and eligible Ex-servicemen and by ten years for P.H.(Orthopaedically Handicapped) candidates;

 

                  Provided that upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years in case of candidates who have atleast 12 years of service in any Group ‘C’ post in any departments of Government by the last date of receipt of applications.

 

                  Provided further, that a candidate who comes under more than one benefit of upper age relaxation which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her.

 

 

4.                  EDUCAETIONAL QUALIFICATION :-

 

A candidate shall –

(a)               have completed Graduation in Law from a recognized University alongwith practice in Bar as an Advocate for atleast for a period of three years on the last date of receipt of applications. 

 

OR

(b)               have completed Graduation in Law from a recognized University alongwith experience of atleast 12 years of service in any Group ‘C’ post in any departments of Government, other than the employees of common cadres and shall not be more than 45 years on the last date of receipt of applications.
